Evidence-based music therapy supporting all ages & life stages.
The moment I learned that music could be used intentionally to improve health, well-being, and quality of life, I knew I had found my calling. Today, that passion has grown into Meadowlark Music Therapy Services, a practice dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and abilities experience the transformative power of music.
As a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) and Neurologic Music Therapy® Music Therapist (NMT™), I have spent the past seven years working in healthcare, educational, and community settings. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting children, adults, older adults, hospice patients, and individuals with diverse needs through evidence-based music therapy services.
I believe that music has a unique ability to connect, heal, and empower. Whether helping a child build communication skills, supporting an individual through rehabilitation, providing comfort at the end of life, or creating meaningful opportunities for self-expression, I strive to meet each person where they are and use music in ways that are meaningful to them.
My approach integrates a variety of music therapy techniques, including improvisation, songwriting, therapeutic instrument play, and Neurologic Music Therapy® interventions. Every service is individualized to support each client's goals, strengths, and personal experiences.
Through Meadowlark Music Therapy Services, I offer in-home music therapy services, group programs for nursing and senior living communities, hospice music therapy, legacy projects, and music-based resources designed to enrich lives and foster meaningful connections.
The meadowlark is known for its beautiful song and symbolizes joy, hope, and connection. These values guide my work each day as I seek to empower individuals through the healing power of music, foster resilience and well-being, and help people experience the highest possible quality of life.
I am honored to walk alongside clients and families on their journeys and look forward to helping you discover the many ways music can support growth, connection, healing, and joy.
As a new small business, there are a lot of behind-the-scenes costs that go into building Meadowlark Music Therapy Services. Donations help to purchase professional instruments, recording equipment, technology, and other materials that allow me to provide meaningful, high-quality music therapy services.
